Hows THIS for ethical behavior from a REALTOR? Ive got a commercial property currently listed on Loopnet. I get a phone call from the agent who had the listing years ago. He calls to tell me that someone who was allegedly interested in the property when he had the listing is again interested in the property. But he wont give me the name or number of the prospective buyer unless I agree to give him 20% of my commission. And it took five minutes to get that information out of him, as he beat around the bush with his request for several minutes. So, in exchange for a phone number, you want 5 figures? Now you tell ME how ethical that is? To summarize, youre not going to allow a consumer to have a DESIRED conversation with me or my client until I agree to give up income I need to run my businesses?
