Hubby takes 2 insulin shots a day and tossed the needles recapped atop a kitchen cabinet.. readily seeable say if someone wanted a needle and ddint care if clean or not.. well yesterday i was cleaning an area and got nicked with an uncapped one that was used for who knows what by who knows who..it was in kitty litter trash that wasnt where IT should of been ... and I just finished cleaning about a yrs supply of used syringes of Brians.. not all recapped.. YEP another strike.. Now any Rn out there knows what this means...... I do not advocate recapping but the immediatae placement of uncapped needles in a heavy plastic container.. TY needle users.. I GIVE UP
