Huge congrats to our stout-hearted U13 Boys who gained promotion to Division 3 today. It was truly a game of two halves with the lads down by 8 points to Raheny 3-07 to 1-05 headed into the break. Indeed this score could have been a lot worse were it not for the bravery of Supa-Kepa James Tyrell. For Security and for Health & Safety reasons, we cant release what gentle suggestions Eamonn, Ken and Geoff made to their charges but the boys ran onto the paddock, all guns blazing for the restart. From the whistle, the lads took control of the game putting away 3-12 to Rahenys single point leaving them deserved victors with a score of 3-08 to 4-17. Not one of the boys let the Club down with 100% effort given to the team at all times. However, Eamonn has asked that James performance be singled out for outstanding contribution to this fantastic result including an impressive penalty save. These players, their parents and their dedicated mentors - all volunteers - represent all that is great about Dublin GAA and about Pats in general. Lads, you make us all #ProudToBePats
