Huge congratulations to Gillies, today named the All Black Sevens team for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow later this month. Gillies becomes our 3rd club player to be named in a Commonwealth Games team, our first was Rangi Vallance, captained Cook Island Sevens in Melbourne 2006 and Daniel Bell in 2010 at Delhi winning Silver Medal in 100m backstroke. A proud day for the Village.
