Huge success for my co-teacher and I. We asked the SKs what they liked best about literacy so far at school both last year and this year and they all said literacy stations( this is new system we put I to place). It shows that we put their interests into this stations to help them learn. So proud of where were at with our kids so far, they are soaring! Heres a look at what these stations are all about, the kids are put into pairs and they rotate through the stations so they have a different activity daily.They are open ended which means we give them the activity with a goal in mind but its up to them to show us how they will interpret the materials, its all about early learning, and LEARNING they are!
