Huge thanks to Salute judge Amy Sands!! Amy Sands is serving as the Interim Gallery Director of the Gordon Parks Gallery, Metropolitan State University. St Paul, MN, and teaches at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Minneapolis, MN. Sands is also a practicing artist and has exhibited her work in a number of solo and group shows both nationally and internationally, including Prints Tokyo 2012 - Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, as well as Estampa, the 2003 Madrid International Print Fair, Madrid, Spain. She was an invited Artist in Residence at Skopelos Foundation for the Arts in the Isle of Skopelos, Greece in 2005. Nationally, her work has been exhibited in New York and also received a juror’s award in the 2013 MAPC Juried Members Exhibition at the McDonough Museum of Art, Youngstown, OH. Sands’ work belongs in the permanent collections of the New York Public Library, Pratt Institute, Metropolitan State University, Buena Vista University, Central Lakes College as well as many private parties.
