Human beings are more than animals, but we are animals first. I dont believe that any culture or education or morality can totally wipe out that evolutionary instinct to preserve ones DNA, whether in ones own or in ones family. Looting and ambushing are disheartening but this is just nature taking its course, like the storm. So we shouldnt blame them.
