Human suffering is part and parcel of the Christian life. God uses it to train and equip us for higher positions, although some sufferings may be self-inflicted (outside the will of God) as a result of disobedience. Lamentations 3:278..........."It is good for people to endure burdens of discipline when they are young." Matthew 11:29-30.............."Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."
