Hummmm. Mohamed Kutubu Koroma Sylvia Blyden happens to be one of the pseudo intellectuals who relies on unscholarly activities just so her bread can be buttered which explains why she has to resort to utter sycophancy and carpet bagging to prove her loyalty to her paymaster. Even disturbing is the fact she is totally bereft of principles and because she does not stand for anything,she readily falls for everything. She has lots in common with her grandfather Jolly Boy when it comes to being void of time tested values as exemplified by the fact while he was a member of Stevenss administration,he witnessed the most egregious violations of the constitutional rights of fellow cabinet members.As a so called trained Lawyer one will expect he will muster the courage of conviction and moral fortitude to speak against infractions of constitutional principles or at the very least resign in protest.He did nothing to the effect rather gave paradoxical comfort and solace to Human Rights violations just to preserve his place at the cabinet table albeit he was subsequently discarded like a waste paper. The sad part of it all is that he only spoke out when Stevens had long died. How a man like that who lays claim to be part of the establishment can be so smitten by cravenness and cowardice to the point of sacrificing time tested values at the alter of expediency confounds me to say the least. So whatever,Sylvia does to get ahead comes as no surprise to me because she is utterly lacking in fiber to be up to anything good She represents everything gone wrong with politics in contemporary Sierra Leone
