Hunger is a survival mechanism , where as cravings are your brain communicating with you to explain you are lacking in something ! Many cravings can be resolved simply by either supplementing with the missing minerals and vitamins or by eating foods rich in the missing minerals! If you crave pasta/white bread it is a sign you are deficient in chromium. This can be found in onions, grapes, tomatoes, sweet potato and cinnamon so include more of these in your diet and cravings should start to go.
