Hunting season is almost here ! Dove season is our first taste or premier gout followed by teal season. Then in November the duck n goose season starts. To name a few of my favorites en francais - Dove - toutre Quaill - padre Teal - sarselle Green head mallard - carnard francais Summer mallard - canard lete Pintail - paiouillon (sp ?) widgeon - pentaille (sp?) grey duck - dos gris red head - tete rouge speckle belly goose - ouie caille blue goose - ouei bleu Canada goose - ouie tard My spelling may be off but I think I have the names right. To hunt go hunting is aller a la chasse (sp). This is a way of life that goes way back for us !
