Huperdulia to Blessed Virgin Mary. Why do Catholics venerate Blessed Virgin Mary? I. She is the Queen of all queens, before all GOD‘s elects have all been born. The GOD Almighty has chosen Her to crush the proud head of satan, the serpent. Genesis 3:15 - I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel. II. She is the Holy Virgin of virgins and the Virgin Most Renowned. Isaiah 7:14 - Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel. Matthew 1:22 - Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled which the Lord spoke by the prophet, saying: Matthew 1:23 - Behold a virgin shall be with child, and bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Luke 1:27 - To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgins name was Mary. Luke 1:34 - And Mary said to the angel: How shall this be done, because I know not man? III. Even Angel Gabriel who is naturally powerful than human gives salutation to Her and She is the Mother of DIVINE GRACE. Luke 1:28 - And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. Luke 1:30 - And the angel said to her: Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God. IV. Mother of our Saviour. Luke 1:41 - And it came to pass, that when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the infant leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: Luke 1:42 - And she cried out with a loud voice, and said: Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Luke 1:43 - And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? Luke 1:44 - For behold as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy. Luke 1:45 - And blessed art thou that hast believed, because those things shall be accomplished that were spoken to thee by the Lord. V. Queen of Humility. Luke 1:38 - Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done unto me according to thy word. VI. Queen of Faith John 2:3 - And the wine failing, the mother of Jesus saith to him: They have no wine. John 2:4 - And Jesus saith to her: Woman, what is that to me and to thee? my hour is not yet come. John 2:5 - His mother saith to the waiters: Whatsoever he shall say to you, do ye. VII. Queen of Hope. Acts of Apostles 1:13 - And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode Peter and John, James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Jude the brother of James. Acts of Apostles 1:14 - All these were persevering with one mind in prayer with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. VIII. Queen of Charity. Luke 1:56 - And Mary abode with her about three months; and she returned to her own house. IX. Queen taken up into Heaven Revelation 12:6 - And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, that there they should feed her a thousand two hundred sixty days.
