Hurricane Gonzalo is moving over the North Atlantic Ocean, centered at 11 a.m. EDT/AST about 355 miles north-northeast of Bermuda and 815 miles southwest of Cape Race, Newfoundland. On the forecast track, the center of Gonzalo should pass just south of Cape Race late tonight or Saturday morning. A Tropical Storm Watch continues for portions of Newfoundland from Arnolds Cove to Chapels Cove. Maximum sustained winds are 90 mph - a Category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.
