Husband kidnapped me from computer, thank gods, and we went to the nearest seashore -- this is Sivota, on the Ionian Sea. I know that its the Ionian because the Ioanian has more cyan, the Aegean more blue. (This is not my photo, btw, had no camera with me!) We had octopus meze (more than we could consume!) and fish so fresh it was from the fisherman as he brought it in from his boat. And it was grilled. And served with olive oil-lemon sauce. (And you, George Menzelos and Despina Manos, know this is the most succulent way on earth to eat fresssshhhhhh fisssshhhh. Laurakia to be exact, each about a lb). And it was also so much we couldnt finish it. If you want, try google earth at 39deg 2449.27N - 20deg 1357.59E for the exact restaurant. The second photo, being hard to ignore, is a mountain near the turn-off from Egnatia Natl Road to Sivota, you can see it has some cell phone towers on the top. Can also see, even on this googlearth shot, some wonderfully googly folding in it (Ive outlined some form lines in dotted lines), scale about 800m top of photo to bottom. Dina Ghikas, have you seen these? Next time, need to have camera with me...
