Hyderabad, June 26: By allotting the budget of Rs. 1027 crore for minorities for the year 2013-14, the state government tried to prove itself minority friendly but the minority budget for the year 2012-13 towards scholarship and fee- reimbursement has not been issued so far; as a result the students are facing a lot of difficulties. The government has enhanced the budget for the current year without disbursing the budget of the previous year. This way it tries to prove itself minority friendly but the ground reality says a different story. It is said that finance department has not issued a substantial part of the budget towards scholarship and fee-reimbursement scheme from the year 2012-13 hence the students are troubled due to pressure from educational institutions’ administration. A large number of students and parents reach Minority Finance Corporation in connection with non-issuance of scholarships and fee- reimbursement amount but in vain.
