Hydrating, does not happen the day of your match. Proper hydrating must occur 24-48 hours prior to court time! If you wait until the morning of the match, you have waited too long. 1. Drink on every change over. Yes. EVERY! 2. Do you know how to tell if you are hydrated? We hate to say it, but you can tell you are hydrated when your urine (yuppers...Pee-Pee!) is almost clear. If your urine is yellow, you are not hydrated. 3. Drink more water than sports drinks! A ratio of 2:1 is good, even in the hottest time of summer.
