I AM AN IDIOT but if you learn from my mistake you wont be: I asked for recommendations for a physical therapist here. I got a few ideas and everyone said its the therapist not the place. I called a place that had been recommended twice and highly rated on Yelp. (Gail Wehner in Santa Monica). The recommended therapists werent available. But, I was impatient! I didnt want to keep looking. So I took the therapist they gave me. A nice girl. Suffice it to say after two sessions my knee pain is the least of my problems. I can barely move because she gave me exercises that threw my back out and into painful spasm. (Per the more experienced therapist I saw there today). Turns out my therapist had just started and had never worked on knees. She ignored the red flag that I had some back pain after our first session. And I ignored it cause she wasnt concerned! Turns out that was wroooong. We put our trust in health care experts and we want them to be infallible. Hey, Im just uncomfortable. Im not dead like Joan Rivers!!! But its a risky world. You have to be more careful; less impatient. Or maybe its just a case of, shit happens!
