I AM THANKFUL TO BE ALIVE! Ten years ago I had a Heart Attack on Friday after Thanksgiving, at 5:30 pm but was smart enough to drive myself to hospital as soon as I felt ill and I didnt drive slow! I had a major blockage that I didnt know I had and not for the Grace and Mercies of God I would have see him face to face! The Dr. told both Jan and I that I was all primed for the Widow Maker! I had a stent installed Ten Years ago today! Came home Tuesday afternoon late! Wednesday morning after just getting up received a phone call from one life long friend, Robert Leroy Hobbs, Jr. You cant imagine what it meant to me! A few minutes later I heard steps on my back deck and another Life Long dear Brother, David Clopper came to see me! There were tears of joy in each eyes for we didnt have to speak because we both knew the tears said it all! So many years ago David had his pelvis crushed and when I was at his bedside when he told his wife Darlene goodbye and how of his love for his 4 children. Dave didnt think he would survive due to all the pain he was enduring! Darlene and I did what we knew to do! WE PRAYED!!! God heard and answered our prayers! Dave is now retired and works harder than ever on so many projects! Especially at Church with so many Building Maintenance issues that ARRISE! After all it was SEPTEMBER of 1977 when we March from the Old Church located at the corner of South and Park Streets, Easton, to 1009 North Washington! GOD IS SO GOOD!
