I AM..... These two words as small as they are, are actually two of the most powerful words when placed together. You may ask why? What you choose to follow these two little words, this one small phrase with, will in the end determine the true strength of these words. In the Bible we have quite a few uses of the phrase I Am....I found these to be some of the most important and powerful ones... I am the bread of life (John 6:35,48,51). I am the light of the world (John 8:12). I am the door of the sheep(John 10:7,9). I am the good shepherd (John 10:11,14). I am the resurrection, and the life (John 11:25). I am the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). I am the true vine (John 15:1,5). I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending (Revelation 1:8). I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star(Revelation 22:16). These statements not only tell us who Jesus is, who and what He is and shall be to us, they are not just mere declarations....they are also great promises for us to hold on to. He shows us that whatever we need Him to be for us, He is that very thing! What is also important for us, is in our daily speech when we use this little phrase. Many times we follow it up with negative words like... I am ...sick, tired, weary, bored, lonely, poor, sad We say these things not realizing the power in our very words, the things that we can call into being by saying them. Today lets shift the negative words we so often have grown accustomed to placing behind I Am and replace them with positive affirmations! I may be feeling a bit tired BUT God gives me strength to go on, I may not be feeling 100% in body/health but God is my Healer, I may not have much BUT God is my Provider, I may feel alone but God is always with me, I may feel down in spirit but God is my Joy! These are some I personally use on a daily/weekly basis and you can start too! Add your own as you wish, even according to your own circumstances and see God shift things in your life! I Am a winner! I am the head and not the tail! I am above and never beneath! I am a lender and not a borrower! I am blessed in my going out and blessed in my coming in! I am a chosen generation, I am part of a peculiar people, I am a child of the Most High King! I am somebody special , I am unique, I am rich, I am an overcomer, I am a joint heir with Christ, I am blessed in the city, blessed in the field. I am a Kingdom citizen! I am strong in my spirit and in soul, body and mind; I am redeemed and set free. I am walking in divine health. I am strong in my finances! I am a great governor of all God has given to me. I am destined for victory because the battle is the Lord’s! Our God says, I AM, that I AM! What are you declaring today...you can add something that you are!
