I AM WORKING ON DEVELOPING A TEAM FOR A WONDERFUL CAMPAIGN I AM WORKING ON FOR 2015.. The LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) Man & Woman of the Year Campaign.. The LLS Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a fundraising competition among a select group of individuals in the community.. While each candidate conducts their own campaign all candidates are united by one goal to use their leadership skills to raise funds to help blood cancer patients live longer and more fulfilling lives. We will be raising money and awareness for LLS- Leukemia Lymphoma Society. LLS invests in cures because most blood cancers cannot be prevented or detected early. I am putting together a team of individuals to help me organize events and fundraisers for The LLS Man & Woman of the Year Campaign.. We will have 10 weeks, beginning the day of kick off, to accumulate the most votes. Each dollar raise counts as one vote. The male and female candidates who raised the most votes during the campaign are named the chapters Men and Women of the Year at the grand finale. Their totals are then considered for the national title. Candidates run in honor of the boy and girl the year, who are local blood cancer patient survivors and sources of inspiration. The boy and girl of the year represent the thousands of patients that have been helped by LLS patient services and research. *I will raise funds throughout the 10 week campaign. *I am pledging to raise a minimum of $5,000. *I will be developing a campaign fund raising plan with LLS staff. *I will be identifying a support team of at least 3 people.. ( Though I am looking to get as many people involved as possible.. Which means YOU! ) :) *I will also be attending three main events which will be.. -The Kickoff on February 20th, 2015. -The Midpoint at March 26th, 2015. -The Grand Finale May 2nd, 2015.
