I Don,t wana to confined myself in four walls of my house:Nuzhat Iqbal Modern day Women are ready to play lead in Elections DODA Oct 24: A renowned Woman Social Activist from Doda Nuzhat Iqbal Zarger who had decided to context an upcoming state assembly election as an independent candidate from Doda constituency said that being a woman, she cannot sit inside the four walls of her house and let herself ruin and watch the society to face the burnt of present day politician who had hoodwinked the democratic system and fail to delivered justice to poor and downtrodden. While talking to, Greater Kashmir Nuzhat Iqbal who is all set to create History, as she will be the first women in the history of Doda Assembly constituency to contest elections said that her political career started by leading many mass movements in the erstwhile Doda district, add that she is always helpful to the needy and helpless people, perticularly to the womens. She said that she had been instrumental in the agitation held by the Safai Karamcharis in J & K, particularly in Doda. I dedicated myself for the cause of girls and women--- devoted my self for the service of society by way of associating myself with NGOs working for rights of women said Nuzhat, added I owe my success as a political leader to my maternal grandmother . she said that she belongs to a politically sound family, added that her grandmother had been a source of inspiration for her. She said that modern era women are not less than the mans and can contribute equally towards the society. She said that she will stun everyone with her performance in the assembly election, added that her aim was to serve the people of Doda in better way as the successive politicians who represented the Doda in fast fail to address the problems faced by the people.
