I GET WOOFIE FROM A BREEDER. Queta was talking about this breeder in the Nambour area that was giving away pups and dogs. Carol suddenly got an idea that she wanted a dog, she had an idea that a dog would guard the house automatically. I didn’t like it because of too many animals. Carol insisted and I told Queta, get her a dog just to stop her from complaining. I asked, where does the name Queta come from? She said Quetta, her father named her Quetta but she didn’t like it so she dropped one digit. Discussing the sticky tape, something else came to mind. I told Queta about the truck carrying cement pipes to the Gold Coast and I looked at the chains and said before that truck gets to the Gold Coast, it will smash and lose the load after the chains break. The same night, the truck got to Beenleigh shopping center, the chains broke, truck was a total write off and the driver was lucky to be alive. It was on the news next morning. You cursed a truckie, you very bad she said. I never cursed him was my reply, I only foresaw the near future where an accident took place. I prophesied the loss of his truck and job. Queta came to work the next morning and brought me a cross Black Poodle with a Border Collie, he was so rough that we named him Ruffy. I eventually changed that to Woofie because of his constant yapping all the time, especially at night. Milk vendor started delivering us milk, cheese and yogurt. Dog started up and I ran down the steps and found him eating the cheese. I stopped him because I already fed him dog biscuits but he wouldn’t eat them, he wanted everything else but the dog biscuits. I bought him canned meat and fish and he gorged himself on it. He still kept wanting to eat the dairy products. The only way to stop him was to make a dog kennel for him and out of desperation I locked him up in the laundry under the house. Whenever he barked, I threw a bone or something in and called out, shut up Woofie, and he stopped and went to eat.
