I HATE BEEN POKED BY MEN Even before Nigeria passed that crazy law against gay people, I hated men poking me. If a man pokes me the first time, I ignore him. If he pokes me the second time, I unfriend him. If he pokes me the third time, I block him. If he creates another FB account and uses it to poke me the fourth time, I would send him a cease and desist letter, and I immediately begin to draft a complaint for harassment which I would file in court the next time he pokes me. However, when a woman pokes me, I am so happy and I poke her back twice. My real nightmare is when a man uses his girlfriends or wifes picture as his profile picture and pokes me. If I discover it is actually a man, I get quite upset because that is a fraudulent poking. The real funny situation is when a man uses a picture of himself and his wife sitting or standing together to poke me. I may not know whether the poke comes from the woman in that picture or the man in the picture. In that case, I sleep over it before I decide whether to poke back or not. For the men who poked me in the past one month, please stop for goodness sake. And for the ladies who poked me, thank you so much and may God bless your poking fingers.
