I HAVE ALL THE REASON TO CELEBRATE I remember travelling to - TopicsExpress

I HAVE ALL THE REASON TO CELEBRATE I remember travelling to Flora Park in Polokwane with the hopb of meeting Julius Malema, it was in a very chilly day when I left Gauteng in the evening. My ex-girlfriend was to host me for the night. The whole idea, which was a mandate of Asijiki Defence Force, was to tell Malema that we love him and we believe in him. That we are working the ground for the formation of a revolutionary movement, All we ever wanted was for him to lead us. We never cared who, if he agrees, will he lead with. And when the 11 June 2013 Protea Wanderers Hotel meeting agrees on the formation of the Revolutionary movement, I was over the moon but the reality of how we are going to get members, funds and other resources to put the new party in the map stuck me really hard. We never know how people will receive us. We didnt even had a name except meeting as Economic Freedom Fighters. Regime Change, SA First, ADF, Professionals and individuals with the same cause were all there yet we didnt have a name except identifying ourselves as fighters. All we wanted was to fight for our land and economy. We were ready. It was a year after we got moered at January 8 Statement in Free State for supporting Kgalema Motlanthe and Julius Malema. We were now ready to fight. We refused to tow the line and let the status quo remains. Our people couldnt be subjected to unhuman and unjust living conditions, We had to act. We have Julius on our side. KZN, Western Cape, Limpopo, Gauteng, Free State, Mpumalanga, North West, Eastern Cape and Northern Cape were all ready. We have the masses though we didnt know how to reach them. We only had hope and Faith. God has to lead us. I was attacked many times and our home was once threatened to be burnt down by the people I grow up with. By this time my mom, who was an ANC by then, was very sick but she called me from Venda and said my son, there is no time to retreat. Keep fighting for what You believe. Dont be discouraged, I remember going to Sebokeng in a hostel there, I was with Chris, we were pointed with guns and threatened to be killed because those people said Malema is ill-discipline, disrespectful and ungumfana. We managed to convince the induna to listen to us after 3 hours of hell. Today those people are Eff. We went to so many dangerous places where many people couldnt go to. I was always in the front. All we wanted was for people to know about Eff. We were also preparing for the Policy Conference and the People Assembly. It was 1 year ago, Though today some people label me as a power monger, disruptive, scheming to remove CIC and so many false accusations, I remain the same radical yet humble person I am and will always be. Today the same people I inspired and help recruit, the same people who use to call me at night to come help them, the same people I explained the 7 cardinal pillars to, the same people I respected and let them know we are building a movement that is going to take Azania forward, today they are working tirelessly to kick me out. But nothing will stop me from Celebrating the 1st Anniversary of EFF. After everything myself and many of the fighters went through, having lost many people in this movement, we have all the reason to be happy. Lets all go to Thokoza Park on the 26 July 2014 to Celebrate. For the first time I could feel tears in my eyes. Tears of happiness and victory. Asijiki Lufuno Gogoro EFF MEMBER
