I HAVE ALWAYS TOLD MYSELF, Love deserves second a CHANCE. This is the will of the Divine but one of the hardest thing to do if you are a human being like anyone reading this status (unless your dog has an FB and reads this status as well). Lately, I learned a lot from my students break-up stories. Although I graduated with a degree related to communication before I decided to become a teacher, I was confronted by a very simply constructed question which I really found difficult to answer: WHEN SOMEBODY BROKE YOUR HEART AND THIS SOMEBODY ASKED FOR ANOTHER CHANCE, WILL YOU GIVE IN? Every communication scholar will concur with me if I will say that it is FUTILE TO RETURN TO THAT BROKEN RELATIONSHIP. Yes, it is not ideal to give a broken dream another sleep, to give a broken relationship another chance, especially if the reasons were coldness of the other party and third party. However, every communication scholar will concur with me further that communication is dynamic-- it is still evolving and patterns we have in books will soon change and more likely, will have more variations. The point is very simple. There may be patterns telling us NOT TO GIVE LOVE A SECOND CHANCE, but the way I see it, there are still patterns of human communication and relationship that is yet to be discovered. Let us settle with this thought: IF YOU ARE BRAVE ENOUGH TO ACCEPT AND FEEL THE PAINS AND HEARTACHES AGAIN, IF YOU ARE BRAVE ENOUGH TO LOVE SOMEBODY WHO HAVE TORN YOUR HEART AND SOUL INTO HALVES: GIVE LOVE A SECOND CHANCE. True love doesnt keep records of wrongs.
