I LOST HER “BY KEVIN RAPHAELAH” I lost her a long time - TopicsExpress

I LOST HER “BY KEVIN RAPHAELAH” I lost her a long time ago, Please, ask me how I know so. The moment she wouldn’t realize, It’s been days since I had her by my side. She assumed a few of our anniversary dates, The apologies came way too late. Take a look at my dried up roses, Not to mention the melted chocolates. I had a feeling she wouldn’t show up, That’s why am certain our time is up. There’s someone new who makes her happy, The love they share is that of puppies. I lost her along time ago, Please, ask me how I know so. After all these years why would she ask, If I think our relationship is meant to last? She’s finding a reason for our inevitable separation, If I give it to her I’ll succumb to depression. There is nothing worse than being in love alone, Nothing worse than being stoop up at home. Maybe it’s time I call it quits, This love of ours is no longer a bliss. I’ll surely yearn for the days when I was missed, But I’m replaced I see no need to resist. I knew I lost her along time ago, She found a new love now I’m a bore . (from the anthology LONELY KEVS) FOR MORE POEMS CLICK HERE Poems a day
