I LOVE how Fox News feeds misinformation. The graphic reads, Scientists: No Global Warning Trends. The US National Academy of Sciences doesnt say that. The British Royal Society doesnt say that. The World Meteorological Organization doesnt say that. Of course the video is cherry-picking surface temperature. So what do scientists say? They say that the climate, as measured by surface temperature of air AND water, is still getting hotter. They say the amount of heat stored in the ocean is increasing. They say the sea surface temperature is the warmest in the last decade. They say the air temperature over the ocean is going up. They say specific humidity is going up. They say temperatures in the lower troposphere are going up. They say that snow in the Northern Hemisphere is still shrinking. They say that worldwide glaciers are still shrinking. They say that the volume of the Arctic sea ice is still shrinking. They say the ocean sea levels are still rising (at an accelerating rate). They basically say “Sorry Fox News” Al Gore is correct.
