I NEED OPINIONS!!! Long story short last weekend I made a wedding cake that was ordered from me only 1 week in advance. I completed the order and upon delivery at the wedding I made a miss step and fell on top of the cake...now before you lol I was then verbally attacked my several members of the wedding party. I tried explaining myself and apologizing for the horrible incident but was still being verbal criticized. I left the situation to avoid any further altercations. Yesterday I was contacted by the groom (who placed the order) who stated that he was not trying to purse me for everything. By this he mean to take me to small claims court for the $375 that I was paid. I already advised him that I would give him back $200 but I would not reimburse the full amount when $300 of that went toward supplies. I am now tempted just because of the absolutely horrible way I have been treated to not give back a dime! There is no contract and no receipt of payment I need some help please!!! Ps. Im NOT making cakes anymore at the moment...this totally killed my vibe
