I Once Met A Man I once met a man who went by the name of Bill (William) Dobson, I met Bill through a beautiful friend Patrica Wilson, both were mature in age and very much in love.The day Pat introduced me to Bill I never realised the effect this wonderful man would have on my life. Bill was a mechanic down the south coast and they both lived in a house by the beach in Culburra, we stayed with them several time although I never got any sleep due to the rythmic banging of the waves on the beach. Pat and Bill later sold up and brought a property just out of Gulgong. The house was a little run down with an old kitchen and a rather good fire place, Pat wanted the kitchen done up and air conditioning, Bill wouldnt have that saying he will fix the kitchen and they dont need an aircon. Now that they had their farm we needed to get some chooks, laying hens, we spent a whole afternoon ringing around and found some at Rylstone, some distance away. Early the next day we were up and off to town to purchase some chicken wire, feed bowls, water containers and chicken feed, then off to Rylstone. Well they were laying hens alright, there were so many chooks in the pen some could not stand up and just lay on the ground, we picked a few that we thought were ok, put them in the ute and headed home. By the time we got home it was dark so we feed the hens and left them in the cage until morning. TO BE CONTINUED
