I, Reuben Nathaniel Vogt do solemnly and wholeheartedly declare Total War against the Liberals and their Leader, Tony Abbott. But further than that I aim to change the nature of politics in this Nation. For too many years we the people have been lied to and far worse our futures have been undermined by those who we have entrusted to craft and define our country. Labor failed us with spending billions since 2007 on mostly useless projects, rather than invest in our future. Imagine if those billions had been invested in major infrastructure projects across the nation? the Metro Tunnel in Melbourne, East-West Link - toll free once paid off, Rowville, Doncaster, Airport rail lines, New Ports and Airports, local streets upgraded, Schools and Hospitals with world class facilities. I could go on but its far too depressing to imagine the lost opportunities we could have realized. The Liberals are even more twisted and fail to see into the future. They rather than invest in out nation, would rip billions out from under us as they seek to run the Commonwealth like a business, the fat controllers that they are. Under Howard so much waste and lost potential. The time has come to step up and to change the nature of the debate in government - at all levels. With a focus on National Infrastructure we can drag our economy out of the doldrums and into a future of greater prosperity than that we have ever known.
