I WILL EXPOSE YOU, SLIZER THREATENS YOUNG IGWE Peter Moyos lover, Motswana artist, Slizer says the Zimbabwean musician is not telling the truth about their relationship. She has threatened to expose local musician Peter Moyo if he persists to peddle lies about their alleged relationship. Slizer was in the country for the Zimbabwe Amalgamated Housing Association charity gala held in Masvingo over the weekend. She said Moyo — popularly known as Young Igwe — had lied that he phoned her to clarify the issue of their relationship to his Zimbabwean girlfriend’s relatives. “He never called me to clarify the issue and if he continues to lie like that I will expose him,” said Slizer. She admitted that she was the one who was on the picture that was circulating on social networks. The picture shows Moyo intimately kissing a lady whose face is not clear. “I don’t want to lie to the world. I cannot deny that I am the one who is in the picture but I am professional and I don’t want to say much on the issue,” she said. She could not divulge the nature of her relationship with Moyo. “I don’t want to say much about that because I don’t want to ride on someone’s fame or to go around seeking attention with someone’s name. I am professional and I will not say much,” she added. Moyo was evasive when asked to comment on the issue saying it was a thing of the past. “Guys I am sure you are happily married. Why can’t you just leave my private life alone,” he said. Meanwhile, musicians Sulumani Chimbetu, Uncle Jahunda, Sebastain Magacha, Jacob Moyana, Zoey and Qonfused also performed at the Masvingo charity gala. Moyana left fans in stitches with his songs “Munotidako”, “Ngatimbomamira Madhiri” and “Tiende Kunonamatako”. Zoey left a mark in Masvingo with her dances while Magacha preached the word of God through his songs such as “Gwenzi” and “Bvosvo”. Sulu belted out songs from his late father discography and his own hits before paving way for Slizer who was the last performer. ZAHA director Killer Zivhu said they would direct the proceeds of the show to their charity programmes. “All the proceeds will go to charity and we are happy that the people in Masvingo came in their numbers to support the initiative,” he said.
