I WILL KILL YOU , NYONGO WARNS A JOURNALIST: CORD Senator, Prof. Peter Anyang Nyong’o, has threatened to squeeze life out of a journalist who misquoted him leading to last Friday’s drama where he was ejected from Kisumu by goons hired by Governor Jack Ranguma. Nyong’o accused the journalist of misquoting him in Nyakach, saying it is because of his misreporting that he was almost given a dog’s beating from Ranguma’s men as he tried to hold a meeting of Kisumu County Development Board as required by the newly enacted law. Nyongo also threatened to sue the journalist for misrepresentation of facts leading to his altercation with the leadership of Kisumu County. “Are you the one who wrote that article? Do you have the clip of my speech in Nyakach?” Nyongo asked the journalist in a very angry tone. However, hell broke loose for the journalist when he told Nyong’o that he had no clip of his speech in Nyakach and yet went ahead to misquote him leading to his embarrassment in Kisumu. “If you have no clip of my speech, how do you quote me verbally? I will deal with you; I will take you to court if not squeeze the life out of you - I will kill you myself,” Nyongo threatened the poor journalist as he begged for forgiveness
