THE victim of a notorious paedophile claims police asked her to help her attacker because he was dying. The 45–year–old mum, who cant be named for legal reasons, says she collapsed after an insensitive police officer insisted he had a duty of care to serial offender Francis Currens. Described by a judge as the most depraved paedophile in Scotland, former Territorial Army soldier and Scoutmaster Currens led a paedophile ring targeting vulnerable children.
