I, William R. Benson, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God. Having been properly relieved of my obligation to obey the orders of officers appointed over me, and the jurisdiction of the UCMJ by means of my honorable discharge from the Armed Forces of the United States, I am still bound by my oath to support and defend the Constitution... When an elected official oversteps his/her authority, and violates the law as set forth by the Constitution (and subsequent laws derived thereof), it is my duty to stand against that official, deferring to the Constitution as the precedential and fundamental instrument of Law. Simply put: Them folks what either dont know, or dont care whether they are adhering to the law set forth by the Constitution might want to take a step back from a most awake and alert hornets nest. Jus sayin.
