I Would Like to Thank Agatha Christie for writing the most exceptional books! I am clearly not the only person who thinks this as she is the Best-Selling Author of All Time: She has sold over two billion books worldwide and has been translated into over 45 languages. With special thanks for her creation: Hercule Poirot. Having watched Curtains - the last tv adaption of her books, I can honestly say Ill miss the little Belgian! Although professionally she may have tired of him, I think its fair to say her readers including me never tire of him. He is, to me, my most favourite literary character and I certainly did shed a tear watching his last ever appearance. How Agatha Christie ended Poirots life was surprising and brilliant. Thanks of course has to go to the wonderful David Suchet for making Poirot come to life. The last episode also gives me a new put down Your brain is made of lard!. Thank you Agatha Christie both you and your create H Poirot are national treasures.
