I absolutely love this. I wish everyone had the opportunity to personally get to know a police officer and see that they are normal people like you and me. The only difference is that while we run away from danger, they run towards it. They do everything they can to protect others even if it means one day they wont come home to their loved ones. I obviously cant speak for every officer out there since there are bad ones, but I am speaking from experience. Police officers willingly do a very difficult job and they dont even get the respect they deserve. I both admire and appreciate them because of this. They dont do it for the recognition, instead they do it because they actually care.
