I absolutely loved this. Of course, it brought to mind another blog that circulated a few months back where the blogger was basically insisting that the mom in the park on her iPhone was a neglectful, selfish, un-loving twat. I rolled my eyes and envisioned her leaning in close to smell her kids farts every time they ripped one off..... I mean, I am sure she would hate to miss a thing! And such a special moment to engage multiple senses!!!!! Rock on to those moms who make their kids the center of their entire universe. I reckon you SHOULD soak up every detail and make it damn worthwhile because your husband is probably cheating on you because you have neglected him as long as you have dedicated your every waking moment to your child, and you will likely be miserable or divorced as soon as your lovelies leave for college. And since you have wrapped every shred of your identity up in your kids, you better have a back up plan or a helluva GPS to find your way back to YOU as soon as they move out. Because you my sister. you will be LOST and most likely lonely. Me? Im gonna hit share link on this status and then head home from work to make dinner, see my kids and get them ready for their first day of school. Then I will tuck them in promptly at 8:15, which is ALWAYS their bedtime and then I am going to have alone time with my husband, like I do EVERY NIGHT..... and never have a headache. ;)
