I actually cried today when I heard of Robin Williams suicide. No. I didnt know him personally. And yes Ive only seen a handful of his films. But god dammit I feel like I knew him. His voice and face was present throughout my young years. Furthermore its a scary idea. That someone can be rich and famous and iconic and still be lonely and depressed and flawed to the point where they might take their own life before it is taken from them. This is why I rally against judgment. This is why I try to be positive to everyone I meet and encourage it in others. None of us live in each others heads. None of us see each others complete and full lives. The best thing we can do is be happy and friendly and supportive and understanding of everyone. Even when its tempting or difficult to do so. Its not a cure and its not a solution. But its absolutely something we should all consider and endeavor to do.
