I actually had a stag do. I never thought I would but I did and now its a do which is done. And you know what? It was so, so much better than I hoped. Bringing disparate groups of friends together is never easy but when the men involved are of this calibre it is nothing short of beautiful. We had the weather - all seven shades of it - and we had exhilarating wheel-to-wheel rally action. We had one of the smokiest barbecues in modern history and we saw Mallett get a proper, childlike bollocking from a thickset, angry Welshman. We had one of the longest, sleepiest football matches of all time and we had eight minutes of the most knackering Frisbee ever played. And we had a sheep whose fury was matched only by its stamina; a sheep so angry it was briefly considered for the role of Gunnery Sargent Hartman in Full Metal Jacket, only to be rejected for being too angry. But above all, we had a group of top-drawer men, funny, wise and friendly. Thank you for coming Joey Severn, Chris Mallett, Ben Matthews, Jake Harvey, Alex Evans and Jonny Birkin.
