I actually have one more track I forgot about. I recorded this with my iPhone 5s since I wasnt setup to record and comically, I had my Traben plugged into my practice amp marshall. And he tells me. Keep playing that. Ryan played acoustic and sang some lyrics against a bass riff I was playing around with. Almost had a twang of Peach.. early Justin Chancellor from Tool and a bit of Alice in Chains and Im not sure what else. But, I liked it. Seriously. Once I started playing bass next to him instead of guitar, we just meshed a lot better. Weve played a few pieces besides this that we didnt record unfortunately, but.. I think its safe to say that when we jam from now on that I will play bass. I was wondering why I kept sounding off when I played guitar with him and his constant capo tuning changing. I never use capos. I hate them with a passion. It pretty much settled that notion. I play bass with him. So when we play live shows, I will have my bass setup a Gallien-Krueger 2001RB primarily mixed with the J48. And eventually I want a demeter preamp to replace the J48 so I can mix a micd cabinet and a DI from the demeter.. get a mix-mash sound from my bass. Thats actually identical to Justin, but its not that Im playing tool. I actually like his setup. I do small things a bit different, but what he does is solid. Enjoy some unheard tracks.
