I adore Steve Harvey! His shows, books, radio show, ect. ect. My mother ALWAYS tells me, "Anna, that man has been married 6 times, cheated on all but his current wife (For now that is. She always mumbles that) He has be divorced 5 times, has kids by all 6 & encourages young men to think its okay to step out of their marriage. Why would you want to read a book & get advice from a man like that?" & I have come up with a seemingly perfect answer, "Why not? If you never ride a bike, you never fall. If you then try an explain to someone what falling off a bike feels like you could only guess. You would never really know. Sure hes stepped out on his wives, had divorces & has like 10 kids by 6 different women. But this man is not giving his advice based on a guess, a book he read, a school he studied from. No. This man is giving advice from experiance. He has been through these things, they have happened to him! No book, school, internet, ect. can give you an answer to a question like someone who has lived it can. And he may have cheated on 5 of his 6 wives, but hes not now. He learned, took a while, but he learned. He turned his life around based on the experiance he has been through. And at one time in my life a woman I believe to very smart told me, "My mother always used to tell me there are always two sides to the pancake no matter how thin" & I have NEVER forgotten that day! There is no right answer why people do stupid things & there will never be. We as people must learn to learn from not only our mistakes but others. Steve cheating & telling others not to is just one of the many things he is encouraging young men NOT to do. He is smart man, no matter his past. All that matters is who he is now. Who we are now"
