I agree with u 100%. I get tipped at work from time to time for exceeding the quality of service I am required to give, and I work in sales. Waiters shouldnt be any different. Theyre not doing anything different than the guy washing the dishes. Both are doing their job, and they should do so with a level of customer service. Ive always complained about having to pay their wage. Why should customers be required to pay their wages. They should be paid decent wages. And going out with waiter friends are SO annoying, always having something to say about how much I tip. Smh. Its not mandatory to tip the guy at the shoe store waiting on u, or the girl at the dressing room fetching u every size u ask for, or even the guy hand washing your car at the car wash, but for the server who delivers us our food, we have to tip. Smh. Raise their wages a few bucks and compensate for the increased overhead with price increases. Simple.
