I already have a love of and for hummingbirds... So, imagine my delight in seeing this... Ohhh, & also? I forgot to mention that during last weeks visit to the zoo, after my daughter, grson and my step-mom extraordinaire had left, leaving me to explore on my own, guess what I found?!?!? .... An actual hummingbird aviary! I was in heaven! I was also surprised that, with all my recent trips to the zoo, that I hadnt ever seen it before. Well apparently, there are others who love hummingbirds as much, if not even more, than myself. I found 2 women in the albeit tiny aviary, & each of them had been in the aviary all day long, taking pictures with cameras that have HUGE, heavy lens & also taking notes to write books. It was 3:30pm when I stumbled across the aviary. Each of these women had stepped into the aviary at 9:30 & 10am - Wow, thats dedication!
