I already know this is not going to be a popular post but i honestly think I need to say whats on my heart. Im a Christian and I love Jesus. I know people have heard things about Muslims and its all been negative. This recent incident where some crazy idiot with a lengthy criminal history recently converts to Islam and then kills someone and everyone is talking about it was planned. He didnt behead her he decapitated her. A beheading in middle eastern countries is a ceremonial punishment; in America and more specifically in Oklahoma we call it lethal injection. These are NOT religious acts those things are cultural. I have many friends that are Muslim and none of them are criminals, sleepers, radicals, planning to kill people etc. Those are some idiot radicals that are doing this stuff. just like the cults of history they are twisting what is actually written to justify what the Koran actually says and people have done the same thing with the bible. I have attended mosque with friends and not one time did I ever hear anything negative or anyone approach me to blow up a train station. This hatred of others based on what a few have done is just not right. As a Christian I cant hate anyone. We need to educate ourselves not let the media tell us what they want us to think. Learn what a jahad really is. Its not the act of killing people like the media would have us to believe. Its a personal struggle that one must overcome. Learn why they cover their women. Its not a Disgrace or because they are less. Its because its in mans nature to lust after the form of a woman and they cover them because it keeps men from sinning in the mosque. Think about how many women go to church on Sunday with breasts hanging out and skin tight skirts. That is disrespectful to themselves. I heard this at the mosque when I went with a friend in Florida: where do you find diamonds? Where do you find rubies? Where do you find pearls? You fund these things hidden. Hidden deep in the earth or hidden locked up right in a clam. Why? That is because they are precious. Allah (God) hides these things to keep them precious to mankind. Likewise women you should hide your flesh under coverings to keep you precious for you husbands. Thats good words of wisdom for our daughters regardless of what church you attend. I feel like the media is trying to enter this county into a holy war with Christians and Muslims. My God commands me to not judge others, to pray for the lost, love my neighbor as myself, help those in need, to turn the other cheek, and live a life that honors him. No where does it say to hate others that believe differently. Who are we to decide they are wrong and we are right? I believe there is 1 God and only one God. I dont care if you call him Lord, alpha & omega, Jehovah, Allah, the light, father or any of the other thousands off names he has. In the end we are all praying to the same God. Ok Im sure you will have negative things to say and thats fine. If you want to unfriend me I understand but I really needed to get that off my chest!
