I guess this is as good of a time as any with Jet well and truly - TopicsExpress

I guess this is as good of a time as any with Jet well and truly dismantled and a few of its major components now sold its finally over after 7 and a half years of building and breaking. What started as our family car bought only a month or two before we got married it saw every form with more component changes than could possibly be counted. Its brought every range of emotion and cost more than Id care to admit but I dont regret it one bit just for the sheer fact of knowledge Ive gained but more importantly friendships that have been made all because of a piece of metal. Its achieved more than I could of ever imagined from the day I drove it off the showroom floor at Tully motors but this would of never have happened without the support & understanding of my wife who has put up with me putting so much time and energy into this over a long period of time. On the car side of things noone can take more credit for the heights that it reached over the years than Jamie @ Forced Performance. Hes done things with this car that noone has been able to do before and Im eternally grateful for what hes done but Im sure hes equally as happy as I am to see an end to this because its taken many a late night and long weekend to do what it did. Thanks Leanne for letting me steal him for so long :) And to mates that have lended plenty of there own time at the track, workshop and everywhere else as well over the years, thanks Nathan, Kristian, Brendan & Beau. The car definitely took a major leap foward with Tony Bellert taking over the engine building reigns, thanks mate & Kyle and the boys from 6boost its cage and fabrication work is the best Ive ever seen in a car like this. Its a long post but theres no short way to put it all. All the components are going into some of the most exciting cars coming out in 2015 so very excited to have a small part in them including a car that should smash the fastest Barra powered car record. As for whats next Im having a break for a little bit but Ive already started accumulating and have kept a few components off jet thatll work just nicely and yes well be out to take records again :) Thanks to all for sharing in our journey.
