I always believed that success is a product of three things...Hard work, Endless Prayers and Will Power. I had faith in Allah and yesterday that faith have been rejuvenated and reinforced. Yesterday marked the happiest moment of life. Last four days at ISSB Kohat I had a new life changing experience. This little incident that i am about to state fortified my believe in Allah Almighty. Today is the day! The critical moment is here that Ive been waiting for. Will i be the lucky one or will I be the one departing from ISSB Center with tears in eyes. Saying our prayers we all gathered in an assembly area where the announcement will be made. Some of us looked really worried while some stood relaxed without a care in the world. Finally a man appears with a list in his hand. This is it! all candidates gathered around him. The man started shouting chest numbers that we received the first day and asked the ones called to stand behind him. He called at least a dozen and told the rest to wait for further instructions. Wait! please wait you missed me i thought to myself. my heart started racing as he walked away. i was panicking inside but i still had hope. I looked up to the sky and then i rushed to the mosque for i still believed in Allah. After offering a Nafli prayer i bowed in front of Allah. As i Burst into tears i plead to HIM in a mumbling tone. Please Allah i ask for your forgiveness and blessing for YOUR love is boundless. As i returned to the assembly area the man was standing there again...shouting chest No.144 chest No.144....Wait thats me! Here!! i screamed. Follow me he said and led me directly to commandants office where i had a friendly chat with him. After that i was told to wait in a hall with rest of a dozen and few candidates. After few hours the man comes again and shouts chest No.s and ask them to stand behind him...this time including me. Unfortunately he sends few candidates earlier called away. Shortly after an officer appears with KHAKI envelopes in hand. Again calls us one by one and hand over the envelopes. Congratulations Gentlemen You have Proven your worth these past four days. I wish you best of luck in future. Make US PROUD I had never said Darood Shareef this many times in last one year compared to these four days. Again this is a story of hard work, will power and above all support and prayers of many loved ones. I truly am grateful to Allah Almighty that he listens to even a sinner like me!
