I always hesitate making posts like this...it is kind of preachy. Who am I to preach? I have tons of flaws! I can be cranky and impatient. I lust hourly for voluptuous...bacon. Anyways, here goes: Every morning, I observe customers teaching their children to be good people: Be Nice, Share, Say You are Sorry etc etc... Then, at lunch, I will meet with a friend who will complain about a higher-up at her work: Hes so cruel, He is only out for himself, Hes such a (insert profanity here). More often that not, the successful senior executives at big companies can have quite the mean streak. It made me wonder why we change our values as we grow older. The nice person doesnt usually get to the top. More often, it is usually the (insert profanity here) that does. The only advice I can give: Try to be the person that you want your child to be. Your kiddos will always look up to you.
