I am Jedidiah Brown and i formally endorse Bruce Rauner for Governor of the state of Illinois. I struggled with this day and night, The Obama factor made this choice even harder, and I knew it would put me in a world alone if my family and friends chose to be closed minded and not acknowledge truth. Pat Quinn and his camp have broken several basic promises to me and my group even when we fulfilled all his request like marching over 100 strong with him in the 2013 bud Parade. He is playing political games by now talking minimum wage increase but to $10 when its still below the recommended livable wage. Our mayor even advocates for at least $13 an hour 0_o. He insults the church by preaching the bible in pulpits with leaders who wont stand for the community around them and HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE. I am sad because I am more aligned with the values of the Democratic party by which I also identify but for the first time in my life I vote republican to lead this state because the only way to WIN WITH QUINN is to be one of his friends and not an everyday hard working citizen of Illinois. To vote for Quinn in this election is to vote for stagnation, we need to shake up springfield. My elders say he is the better of the two evils well then you should rise up and demand neither be elected and we get new candidates, dont say its impossible because Obama was impossible at one point. However if our morals and conviction ruled our fight then we wouldnt settle for a scripture and a few dollars to appear as though we did something. Quinn when you disappointed the confidence of the young people that showed up for you, it proved to me that Harold Washington was right and in my own words. You are one of illinois continued mistakes in leadership Hermene Hartman and Pastor Corey Brooks thanks for being willing to break the mold! Lets get a real leader elected, consider me on the team
