I am Legend He is the last man in this world to survive a mutation of a virus that is about to cause the extinction of the human race. Infection of this virus turns civilized people to ugly beast-like beings featuring speedy heart rates and strong inclination to attack others, to be exact, bite others. Sometimes it occurs to me that this virus is not from what is without. Rather, it is from within. When people are lacking in love and compassion but full of aversion, hatred and anxiety of the world, their increasing intelligence will just lead them to the way of self-devastation. As a person who progressed from the anxiety of losing heart, hope and security to the state of self-assurance with the help of strong self-control, adjustment and positive external influence, I have confidence in the future of the earth with the belief that people will overcome their inclination to suspect and attack and regain their bright nature after enlightenment.
