I am Pirates supporter but Im making this judgement from a position of a football fan- Someone please enlighten me about the decision behind Igesunds starting line-up against Brazil yesterday.... In particular, the inclusion of Ronwen, Khumalo & Classen??? To start with, Ronwens first cap against a quality side of Brazil`s calibre???... I mean Igesund has to protect our young stars, he threw him at a deep end & the boy was out of his depth. Meyiwa has better qualities as a goalkeeper than the young boy & the necessary experience to play at that level. Secondly, Khumalo`s coolness is not working for me at all, Ive never seen a defender that hardly makes a sliding tackle the whole game-we can talk all we like but we missing Sangweni as a Team & Country. We dont have defenders in the country of his calibre. And then theres Classen, I mean Manyisa has to sit on the bench for such mediocrity. Classen choked. Neymar might as well he not be marked because he was toying with him as if he was playing street football with 2 bricks on either sides. Look at the immediate impact Manyisa had in the second half, why was he on the bench to start with???... Ive had enough of Igesund, thank you for your efforts but its time to go. I & the country can no longer make excuses for you... Youve under- achieved at every level. You didnt meet your mandate & Im still in the dark with the so called slogan “Building for the future”, while you fielded Amakhehla in the Chan tournament??? please do yourself & us a favour- RESIGN!!!
